Description

Aromatic perennial plant, whose name comes from the Greek "helios" (sun) and "chrysos" (gold), refers both to the bright yellow colour of its flowers and to its preference for sunny places. Another commonly used name is Semprevivo in reference to its characteristic of maintaining almost unchanged shape and color, even when it withers. In the traditional medicine it was used to favour diuresis and against the bite of the snakes.
